Le prix du danger
Channeling Robert Sheckley’s short story The Prize of Peril and its 1970s German TV adaptation Das Millionenspiel, the DIE SHOW was an ambitious stage production created by Kay Voges, Anne-Kathrin Schulz, and Alexander Kerlin. The performance was enriched by faux “outside footage” captured by Director of Photography Voxi Bärenklau. While I was granted special access to the set to document the making of the production, I also ventured on my own search for traces within the abandoned industrial complexes, exploring halls with decommissioned steel construction plants. The resulting photobook, published in collaboration with Schauspielhaus Dortmund, features a foreword by Alexander Kerlin.
